You'd have to understand how distorted I am to get the meaning of this story-or not!

I am Jonathan Rechtner

I could explain the concept to you in an extremely well manner; but would you actually understand a single portion of the algebraic formulae that I would have to lay out for you? No: it is neither as simple as x-1=2 (which would mean x=3) nor is it fully mathematical. It would be too deep for anyone to understand except for somebody who experienced it

I met this man thirty years from now. I was 37 years old at the time. You'd never guess how old I am right now unless you've paid considerably close attention to the facts I have subliminally laid out for you already.

Any ways, the man I met was known as William Janzen. He proved to me that I could actually travel back to when I was 7 years old and stop my mother from passing away.

Right now I am still wondering why he offered this to me. He told me that I should never change anything up to the point of saving my mother. If I ever needed to, I could press the emergency button on a device that he so conveniently gave me. Of course I asked what it would do. He replied with: "In time, you will see!"

Withous warning, I was back to age 7. My dad walked in the kitchen while I was conveniently eating the new and improved: Count Chocula. Come to think of it, the old vampire was a little devil himself too.

My father used to beat me; that just happens to be how my mom died.

He walked into the room. Right away I could tell that he was drunk. He pulled me out of my chair as I fell to the floor. I could not control the following urge: I punched him in the face with such a force that I achieved a knock out!

WAIT A MINUTE!!!

I pressed the button on the device that just happened to appear in my hand. Can you guess what happened next? I honestly don't know if you will or will not guess what happened. Guess any ways. Time froze!

Right now I am still seven years old. I wonder now about why I still haven't pressed the button a second time. And why the man I met thirty years from now decided to mess up the world. But I just can't help but relate to the brutish, deep, devilish laugh that has been continuing on ever since I pressed that hellish button!
